UX Research Opportunity!

UX Researcher: B2B with an understanding of the supplier side in ecomm/digital space. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be the lead on all projects from start to finish!

2 month contract, on-site, Needham -  TripAdvisor. Very strong opportunity to extend as this team is still growing! (shuttle services available)

The fine print...

  • Biggest initiative taking place HOTELS supplier research is page/navigation design (information architecture on the site); this type of design requires tree testing, open and close tests, cart sorting etc.
  • Researcher would sit with the Product Managers and Designers to understand the core questions that the research is trying to answer; take that guidance, determine the best method to accomplish the research within the constraints, build a study around it, run the entire study, compile the research and insights, and then make recommendations back to the business
  • All of the testing will be remote studies (no participants onsite); could involve many different research methodologies; can be difficult to recruit participants for B2B panels
  • Important that this researcher has empathy/understands the consumer (the traveler) while engaging in conversations with the suppliers (the Hoteliers)

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support research conducted by Product Managers - Reviewing studies, consulting on analysis, etc.
  • Independently design and conduct Hotels UX qualitative studies (unmoderated and moderated usability studies, click-tests etc.), analyze data, and report findings
  • Design and field surveys, analyze data, and report findings
  • Maintain ongoing research initiatives including research tool management and administrative research support
  • Communicate research findings internally in clear and compelling ways
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product marketing, and product management
